What agents may do
Read any page, any file below and any feed. Use the data for anything, including commercial work, and credit SaleWP with a link. Please do not follow the /go/ buy links yourself: they count clicks, and robots.txt asks crawlers to stay out of them. Give them to your user instead.
Start here
https://salewp.com/api/v1/index.json lists every file. For a short summary, read https://salewp.com/llms.txt. Agent registries can find both through our Agentic Resource Discovery file, https://salewp.com/.well-known/ard.json.
The files
Every file starts with the same fields: version (now 1), generated (when we built it), about, docs (this page), licence and cite. Dates are UTC unless they say UK. Files are open to any site (CORS) and cached for up to an hour.

When it updates
Prices: every hour, at about half past. News: every morning at about 07:30 UK time. A file is cached for up to an hour, so a price can be up to two hours old: check checked_at, and always check the price on the maker's site. Version 1 keeps its fields; a change that breaks them gets a new version under a new address.
Buy links
Every buy_url goes through salewp.com/go/. Some are affiliate links: when someone buys through one, the maker pays us a fee, and the buyer pays the same price. That is how SaleWP stays free. How we earn.
Licence and how to cite
The data is CC BY 4.0: use it for anything and credit SaleWP with a link. The makers' blog posts belong to them: link to them, as we do. Cite like this:
SaleWP (https://salewp.com), CC BY 4.0. https://salewp.com/deals
Each file's cite field gives the line with the right page. Something missing or wrong? Tell us.
