Visits
We count page views and clicks on "Get it". We do not store your IP address. We make a code from your IP address and browser. The code changes every day, so we cannot follow you from day to day. We delete visit records after 90 days.
Deal alerts
If you sign up for deal alerts or the daily News email, we keep your email address to send you those emails. You confirm by email first. Every email has an unsubscribe link. To delete your data, email us.
Contact form
If you write to us with the contact form, we keep your name, email, reason and message so we can answer you. We also send the message to our own email inbox. To stop spam, we keep a code made from your IP address, not the address itself. The code changes every day. We delete stored messages after 12 months. We delete the email copy when we no longer need it to help you.
Pop-ups
The site remembers, for this browser tab only, that it showed you the deal pop-up. It forgets when you close the tab.
Currency
If you pick £, $ or €, your browser keeps that choice on your device. It is not a cookie.
Leaving SaleWP
When you click a deal, you go to the maker's site. Their own privacy rules apply there, and an affiliate link may set their cookie.
Services we use
Cloudflare runs the site, so it sees your IP address when you visit. It also runs the robot check on the contact form (Turnstile) and stores contact messages.
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views for the whole site. It uses no cookies and does not follow you from site to site. We see only totals, such as page views per page and per country.
Kit sends our deal alerts and the daily News email. It keeps the email address of each person who signs up. See Kit's privacy policy.
Your data
SaleWP is the data controller: it decides what happens to your data. You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you. Write to hello@salewp.com. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
